11 - 26, 2010 Visit the Levant with Caravan-Serai Tours in 2010. Reserve your spot now as this tour has already sold out on the spring departure. You will experience a comprehensive tour of the highlights of Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon with the recognized expert on travel to the region. Beginning in Amman Jordan, the tour will take you to Madaba, Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, Jerash, then go to Syria to see the ancient and still thriving city of Damascus. Cross the desert to see Palmyra, then to the north to the second largest city in Syria - Aleppo. You will see many Roman, Arab, Nabatean, Christian, and Muslim sites in Syria, including the impressive crusader fortress of Krak des Chevaliers. Next head to Lebanon to visit the Beqaa Valley and the site of Baalbek before heading to the Mediterranean coast and the city of Beirut. Spend the last few days of the tour visiting sites up and down the coast of Lebanon as well as some mountain sites. The tour ends in Beirut. Call us for air fare. Group transfers are included in the price for the recommended Royal Jordanian flights. All other flights will result in a separate transfer fee being charged. September

The tour starts in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Sana'a before heading to Socotra to see the unique flora and fauna of this isolated island. Return to the mainland to visit the highlights including Mukhalla, Wadi Doan, Seiyun, Jiblah, Ibb, Taiz, Shibam, Kowkaban, and Wadi Dhar. February

2 - 14, 2011 Visit Jordan and Israel and see the highlights of both these fascinating countries. In Jordan, the tour begins in the ancient city of Philadelphia, now known as Amman. Visit sites in and around the capitol including the Roman city of Jerash and the Desert Castles. Travel to the south and see the Nabatean city of Petra, and the natural wonder of Wadi Rum. Stop at he Dead Sea, then visit Bethany before crossing the border into Israel. In Israel your first stop will be Tiberias and the many sites in the north, including Nazareth, Capernum, Acre, Haifa, and then head to Jerusalem. Visit the old and new city, and also return to the shores of the Dead Sea to see Massada and Qumran. Also visit Bethlehem before returning to Jerusalem.
